Summit offers dormitory style bunkrooms for Scouting groups from January through March.

Dormitory rooms are available at Base Camp Delta dormitory, which adjoins the Pigott Dining Hall. Each room has three bunk beds (up to six people). Private restrooms with showers are located in the hallway. A gathering room with television, tables, and chairs is located on each floor. Groups determine the number of rooms to rent based on desired occupancy (1 – 6 people) and group composition (male/female, youth/adult) to maintain BSA Youth Protection Guidelines.

We offer meal options in our dining hall facility at request! Meals are $15 per person.
Please make meal request 14 days before your arrival and inform us of any dietary restrictions.
You can also enjoy the local grub with excellent restaurants in the Beckley/Fayetteville area.”
SBR does offer a few a la carte activities for units who may have a few hours downtime in their schedule based on early arrivals or later departures.

Situated in the wilds of West Virginia, The Summit Bechtel Reserve is a training, Scouting, and adventure center for the millions of youth and adults involved in Scouting America and anyone who loves the outdoors. The Summit Bechtel Reserve is also home to the National Scout Jamboree and the Paul R. Christen National High Adventure Base.
