So. The Summit. If you visit the Summit Blog, you know that last year’s jamboree marked the grand opening of a really cool place.

You probably know that The Summit is in the West Virginia mountains, within a day’s drive of over half the U.S. population.

You probably know that the showers were built to deliver ambient temperature water ;).

But did you know you’ll be able to experience The Summit every year?

Pretty sweet, right? 2014 marks the first year for Summit programs and we’re kicking it off with high adventure offerings.

These programs take advantage of amazing on-site facilities. High adventure experience is more than just adrenaline; it’s about accomplishment, teamwork, and finding out what makes Scouts and Venturers tick.

Bonus: Take advantage of our grand opening introductory rate by coming in 2014.

Did you know that you can come for weeklong programs or swing by for a weekend?

In fact, there’s still time to sign up for 2014 weeklong programs. Choose from the overview program, Summit Experience, where Scouts and Venturers can try a little bit of everything, or focused programs that offer a more concentrated look at specific activities like mountain biking, whitewater, climbing, or shooting sports.

Bonus: Mountaineer Weekends make it easy to check out The Summit and cram a little more Scouting into your summer in 2014!

Did you know that we’re already taking reservations for 2015?

Yep. The sooner you sign up, the better your chance of getting the dates you want.

Bonus: Check out 2015 program information, as we’re expanding program offerings.

Did you know that we’re just getting started with Summit programming?

In addition to high adventure programs, The Summit will feature leadership and training programming. Check back for more information.

Bonus: Keep your eyes peeled for Summit Day Passes coming online this spring.
